The Life & Times of William Robert Broughton RN.

A look at the life of Captain William Robert Broughton, who sailed with George Vancouver, and took over the command of HMS Providence from William Bligh after the successful second breadfruit voyage. Later involved in the Mauritius Campaign, and his log books were clearly inspiration to Patrick O'Brian for his book the Mauritius Command.
