HMS ‘WARRIOR 1860’

Presentation film for the Captain of HMS Warrior, made by Rob White (editor of the Britannia Naval Research Association's journal) and Andy Jones of Maritime Films UK, telling the story of the Victorian warship – the ultimate deterrent of her day. Built in 1860, the Warrior was the world's first ocean going ironclad warship. She has an incredible history, most notably as having never fired a shot in anger and for her feat of survival through to her wonderfully executed restoration in Hartlepool.
