On Tuesday 20th October, the eve of the 221st anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, we shall have a zoom meeting to look at the history behind Norman Wilkinson’s fine painting of the last journey of HMS Implacable in December 1949.
We shall be looking at the career of this Trafalgar survivor and of the Battle Class Destroyer, HMS FINISTERRE (D55) which accompanied her on that fateful final day.
