BNRA Symposium 2026

On Saturday 16 May 2026, the BNRA is hosting its annual full day conference at Sturdy’s Castle, near Kidlington.

This year the topic is on the Importance of the Baltic throughout Naval history.

Join us to hear six exciting presentations on this key theatre of war.

This will include our annual Alan Villiers Lecture presented by guest speaker Mark Harris on the The Baltic war in 1914-1915.

Our other speakers include:
Steve Dunn – Battle in the Baltic: The Royal Navy and the Fight to Save Estonia & Latvia, 1918–1920 .
Andrew Choong Han Lim – Operation Catherine 1940
Bob Horner – Hitler’s lake – The Baltic in WW2
James Walters – The Swedish East India company.
Sim Comfort – The Battle of Copenhagen in April 1801.

The cost has been held at the same level as last year, with the full day, including a buffet lunch at £45 for members, and £55 for non members.
